Download our app, register with your driver’s license, a selfie, and a payment card. Wait for approval.

2. Rent a car and drive

Find a car nearby in the app and reserve it. You’re ready to go and can start driving right away.

3. Make a "Stopover"

If you want to park along the way, simply select “Stopover” in the app after closing the doors. The rental continues while you keep the car.

4. End your trip

When you’re done driving, end your trip in the app once you’ve left the car. Make sure to finish within the zone.

Good to know when renting a car for a weekend

Is parking and charging included in the price?

Yes! Parking within GreenMobility zones and charging across Denmark are always included – whether you rent for just a few hours or several days.

Where can I charge the car during my trip?

If the car is rented inside the Copenhagen zone, you can charge at E.ON and Spirii stations all over the country. If you rent the car in Aarhus, you can also use Norlys and Clever.

How does parking work when I rent a car for the weekend?

It’s easy: tap “Stopover” in the app if you want to park temporarily and keep the car. Within the zone, you can park for free at most public spots (except those with less than 2 hours of allowed parking). Outside the zone, you cover the costs yourself. Remember, the rental continues during Stopover, since you’re keeping the car – even if you drive on a day package.

Can I drive abroad with a GreenMobility car?

Yes, you can drive to selected countries. Check our terms and conditions to see which countries.

Can I switch cars during my rental?

Absolutely. Just end your trip in the app, reserve a new car, and continue driving. Your day package will still be active.

Can I bring pets?

Sorry, pets are not allowed in GreenMobility cars.
