Parking is easy with GreenMobility
Parking can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. We don't think it needs to be, so we've made it as easy as possible for you.
We offer free parking in Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa. Make sure to read both Helsinki’s, Espoo’s and Vantaa’s parking rules from below.
Also, there are VIP-parking spaces reserved around the capital region, just for our vehicles. These are called Hotspots. You can find all Hotspots in the app, marked with a blue -HS icon. You will always count on finding an easy and free parking space, by driving to the Hotspots.
Good to remember: With GreenMobility, you can take any free car and drive it wherever you need to go. This includes going beyond the green operating zone that you see in the app. To finish your trip, you do have to bring the car back and end the trip within the operating zone. You do not have to return the car exactly where you found it.
Longer, overnight travels are also an option with us. For this we highly recommend purchasing day packages, where you are directly paying for a certain number of days and kilometers.
Overview of parking rules in Helsinki
- In Helsinki, you can park in all public parking spaces with at least 2 hours parking limit all day every day
- In Helsinki, you can park in all public parking spaces that would require payment
- In Helsinki, you can park in all residential and corporate parking spaces A – P
- In Helsinki, you can park in Z-permit spaces
- You park for free at all GreenMobility’s Hotspots that is VIP-parking for you
- You are welcome to park at public charging stations, but always remember to charge the car when parking here
- You cannot park in public parking spaces with 60 minutes or less parking limit
- You cannot park at handicap- and taxi parking
- You cannot park when there is a no waiting or no stopping sign
- You cannot park at private parking locations and garages (e.g. ParkkiPate or Aimo Park)
- You cannot park at private charging stations
- You cannot park on parking spaces that have street maintenance on the current or the following day
Overview of parking rules in Espoo and Vantaa
- In Espoo and Vantaa you can park in all public (owned by the city of Espoo or Vantaa) parking spaces with a shareable car -sign.
- In Espoo and Vantaa you can park in all 24h parking spots owned by the city of Espoo or Vantaa.
- You are welcome to park at public charging stations, but always remember to charge the car when parking here
If you park outside the zone, remember that you have to pay for the parking yourself. Parking and traffic rules must always be observed while driving.

Avoid parking fines with our help
In our application, we have marked some areas where parking is not allowed with our cars. These areas are marked off on the map with red. If you try to end a trip in such an area, the app will notify you that the journey cannot be finished. When you plan to park, we encourage you to always check the map to see if you are in the red area.
NOTE
Remember that the red parking spaces marked in the application do not cover all non-parking spaces. We have only highlighted parking spaces with a higher risk of fines. To ensure you are parking in the correct fashion, check out the city-specific parking rules from above.

The easiest parking in town
Hotspots are parking spaces reserved for GreenMobility. You can always park your car on our Hotspots – and often find an available car. All the Hotspots can bee seen in the app, where you can click and read information on the individual parking options.
VIP parking at the airport
With GreenMobility, you have VIP parking at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. You can drive to and from the airport and park in our VIP parking spaces reserved only for our electric cars. To start or end a trip at the airport, a small airport fee of 7€ is deducted. The trip is cheaper than taking a taxi! Check more detailed instructions on how to get to the parking area here.
Everything is included in the price
Charging, parking and insurance are included. We have all-inclusive prices that suit your needs, whether you need a car for 2 minutes or 2 days. You can simply park the car at your destination when you arrive, and get going with your day. Easy.
