If you are planning a weekend trip or a longer holiday, you can charge the car throughout Denmark for free. Be aware that electric cars use more power on highway driving. Therefore, subtract approx. 40% of the car’s range from if the majority of your trip takes place on the highway.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you rent an electric car for one or more days and plan to go for a long trip, remember to check how much power the car has left. You can charge the car at E.ON’s Type 2 charging stations around the country.<\/p>\n

Within the zone<\/a><\/span>, you have free parking in all public parking spots with at least two hours of parking 24\/7 or at our VIP parking spaces<\/a><\/span>. If you park outside the zone during your trip, you must be aware that you pay for parking yourself. You are responsible for parking legally and following the official parking rules that apply in Denmark.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can prebook an electric car and have it delivered to you, so you are sure that there is a car available exactly when you need it. You can prebook both our electric cars and vans in Copenhagen. In Aarhus, you can prebook our regular electric cars. You can easily combine prebooking with our packages.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Open the app and buy a package.<\/p>\n

2. Reserve the car in the app. The first 20 minutes of the reservation is free. After this, it costs 1 DKK \/ min to have the car reserved.<\/p>\n

3. When standing by the car, unlock it in the app.<\/p>\n

4. Put your mobile phone into the mobile cradle for GPS.<\/p>\n

5. When you stop at a desired address, make a “stopover” in the app. The car locks while you are away from it. Don’t finish your trip in the app until you’re done driving.<\/p>\n

You may want to check in advance if there is a charging station near the place you want to go to. Find E.ON’s charging stations in Denmark here<\/a>. 7. When you have finished your daily rental, go park the car within the zone. If you have the opportunity to park the car at a charging station, it is a great help for us and the next user. You earn free minutes by charging the car. Remember the parking rules that apply in Copenhagen and Aarhus. See the parking rules here.<\/a><\/p>\n

8. Use the orange E.ON card in the glove compartment to unlock the charging stand. Remember to put the card back, otherwise the trip cannot be ended in the app.<\/p>\n

9. The charging cable is in the trunk of the car.<\/p>\n

How does daily rental work with GreenMobility?<\/strong>
Select a day package in the app under \u201cPackages\u201d and activate it before starting your trip. Then you\u2019re free to drive for up to 30 consecutive days. You can switch cars during your rental and end your trip within the zone.<\/p>\n

Can I save unused kilometers or time for my next trip?<\/strong>
Unfortunately, if you end your trip before using all the included kilometers or time (hours\/days), the remaining value cannot be saved for later use.<\/p>\n

How do I activate my hour or day package?<\/strong>
Simply open the app, go to \u201cPackages\u201d and tap \u201cMy Packages.\u201d Here you\u2019ll find your purchased packages that haven\u2019t yet been activated. Activate a package before unlocking the car, whenever you\u2019re ready to go.<\/p>\n

When should I use an hour or day package?<\/strong>
Our hour packages are ideal for trips lasting more than 1 hour and 15 minutes and up to 10 hours \u2014 especially if you plan to drive outside the zone. Our day packages are perfect for trips longer than 10 hours, for weekend getaways, vacations, or whenever you need a car for several days (even if you’re not using it the whole time). You can always pause your trip using the \u201cstopover\u201d function.
For shorter trips, our prepaid minute packages may be a good option.<\/p>\n

What happens if I drive longer or farther than what\u2019s included in my package?<\/strong>
If you exceed the number of hours, days, or kilometers included in your package, you\u2019ll be charged DKK 2.25 per extra minute and DKK 2.25 per additional kilometer driven.<\/p>\n

When does my package expire?<\/strong>
Unless otherwise stated or in the case of promotional offers, our standard hour and day packages expire within 3 months (90 days) from the date of purchase. After this period, the package can no longer be used.<\/p>\n
